Easibathe help Tim Lamb Children's Centre

7 November 2012

Pathways 4 All is a local charity, which is run by parent volunteers to address the lack of social opportunities for disabled children. More than 200 children (and their families) are helped by the group but their real vision 4 years ago was to create a specialist centre for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs for their families in the North East.

4 years later, and with funding from:

  • Cash for Kids,
  • Operation Home Front; a Channel 5 programme to launch next year seeing ex-military men and women who've returned from the frontline and joining forces to serve some British communities in need,
  • Easibathe,

Also many other local businesses, The Tim Lamb Children’s Centre, based at The Rising Sun Country Park was launched.

Alison Watson at North Tyneside Council told us a bit about the facilities available. "The centre will include; Soft play, Sensory room, Autistic chill out, IT suite for sibling, Cafe, Creche, Parents room, Messy play and craft room, Teenage Zone, Free play room for clubs, groups and birthday parties, Specialist loo’s, Fantastic out door accessible play ground and finally our own car park!"
