20th anniversary of the Disability Discrimination Act

4 November 2015

The Disability Discrimination Act came into effect 20 years ago this month. It was a landmark piece of legislation. For the first time, businesses and service providers had to consider whether customers with a disability were able to access their services, and make "reasonable adjustments" to enable them to do so.

The DDA made life better for many disabled people and has since been replaced by the Equality Act 2010, but the requirements are largely the same.

Are you a business or service provider who need to consider adaptations to a bathroom environment?

Are you considering bathroom improvements?

Do you or someone you know manage to live independently, but experience problems with independent bathing and showering?

Easibathe can help.
